?date not yet announced Battle of the Thames October 1813, aka Battle of Moraviantown. The Chatham Daily News of Thurs. Sept. 1, 2005 page 6 says "Aldred said he is already organizing for a huge Fairfield Comes Alive in 2013, the 200th anniversary of the Battle of the Thames and the end of Fairfield. He expects 2,000 re-enactors from across North America to make camp over the weekend." At Fairfield Museum & see map -- I think I have heard there was some thought of scheduling it near the date of the actual event.
