MEN … GUYS

(or men & women)
of Chatham-Kent & area of Ontario
single?
widowered? separated? divorced?

There is The Red Hat Society “where there is fun after fifty (and before) for women of all walks of life”.
But, what is there for men besides the “coffee shop” and the "pub"?

Is there anything wrong with a group of men (3 or more) hiking, biking, walking, talking, going to the movies, or to concerts in the park, or other events or happenings?

Anything besides hanging around the singles' bars, or watching sports (people paid millions of dollars a year), etc.?

Much seems to be designed to cater to women, teens, children, and families. At least Chatham did have "First Night", an alcohol-free celebration of New Year's Eve ... music in the downtown mall and at Christ Church and First Church; also entertainment for children. Now the past several years it has been changed to "Families First"; children's entertainment at the cultural centre ('grandparents, get tickets and take your grandchildren ...'); also welcome in the new year at 9:15pm with fireworks in Tecumseh Park.

What about those who don't have a spouse, who don't have children or grandchildren, or siblings?

Married couples say the "singles" should just learn to get along by themselves!

How about starting a
"Green Caps" group?
