Why not start a family tradition that will continue on for generations? Cutting your own Christmas tree is a wonderful experience for young and old and your children will fondly remember this special part of childhood when they get older.
From the parking area, climb aboard a hay wagon pulled by one of the classic farm tractors in our collection for the trip out to the woods.
The driver will drop you off at the edge of the woods and you can begin your quest for the perfect Christmas Tree for your home. The silence of the forest is only broken by the occassional cries of "How about this one!" as everyone in the family negotiates for their favorite choice.
When you find your tree, everyone can help as you cut it down and then drag it to the side of the path ready for the trip back.
Relax and breathe the fresh country air as the wagon brings you back to the parking area. Note that dogs are welcome and will love the opportunity to get out and run. We even have a special tree for them!.
You can take the tree as is, or take advantage of our free baling service. We will wrap the tree in netting to compact it for the trip home so it can fit on your roof or in your car trunk.
If you want to extend your stay, relax by the bonfire with a free cup of hot chocolate and enjoy your trip to the country. If you want to hike, you can skip the wagon ride and explore the area on foot.
