Print off a worksheet to edit. Each sheet has some simple sentences. Students should choose to answer the questions who, what, where, when and why and try to add rich and juicy adjectives as well.
You might try Group Work by enlarging the sheets. Number each sheet and have students work in pairs going from sheet to sheet taking turns editing the sentences.
