Hi Hanna:
As you are aware, I had
severe back pain and in order to fix it, they had to operate
on the herniated disc. Well, I just wanted you to know
that Spencer was absolutely amazing during my recovery.
The first couple of weeks I was home, he always slept
at the foot of my bed and every time I had to get up,
he would either go ahead of me to lead the way, or wait
behind me to make sure he was not in the way. Even when
it came to the stairs, he would either go ahead or wait
for me. He would lie outside the bathroom door and wait
for me also. If I waited to pet him, all I had to do is
tap the couch and he knew to jump up there since I could
not bend over.
I know a lot of people
would think this behaviour is because of training, but
knowing Spencer, this is not because of training. It could
be the breed, but I also believe it has to do with the
great job you do in your breeding program. I just wanted
you to know what an amazing companion Spencer has grown
into and he is only 2 years old.
I hope you have a great
day. ~Patti

Hi Hanna,
I just wanted to mail you a few pictures of Spencer. It
is hard to believe he is already 10 months old. He is
becoming a very handsome boy and the pictures do not do
him justice. He just loves playing with his nylon frisbee.
He runs and jumps to catch it in the air. He is a very
talented and smart boy. He definitely plays hard with
people and other dogs. Spencer is a very social dog -
we just love him to bits. He is also developing a very
good personality. Hanna, I know we have said this before,
but thank you for giving us the opportunity to purchase
one of your shelties. He is an amazing addition to our
family and has brought happiness and laughter with him.
We are very grateful to have this very active, loving,
and adorable sheltie in our family. Thank you, ~Patti

Hi Hanna
Dusty is doing great and has adjusted very well to life
here in London. His temperament is definitely the perfect
match for our family!! He has developed a real love for
the outdoors, so it is fortunate that we have a large backyard
for him to play in. His favourite activities are playing
catch in the backyard with his "teddy bear" and
chasing birds, but he also loves to curl up on the couch
in the evening to watch t.v. with the rest of the family.
He really is quite a character! We found a great vet here
and one of staff who does grooming and training is a real
"sheltie lover" who has taken quite a shine to
Dusty (although so does everyone who meets him!).

13/11/01 - The first picture is Rusty with
his mother Miranda the day we picked him up from you
(March 30-86) and the second one is when Rusty was a
full adult.
Rustic Prince 1986 - 2001 - 15 Years
"Rusty" was a cherished family
member who will always hold a special part of our hearts.
We could not have asked for more loyalty, compansionship
and love than what Rusty gave us. No matter the
day or mood, Rusty could fix anything and thus his nickname
was "Doc Wilson". We all loved him dearly
and he will always remain in our thoughts.

Hi Hanna,
It's some time since I was last in touch ... and thought
that you would be interested to see Boss who is now three.
As you predicted he is big for a Sheltie; he stands 17 to
18 ins. and weighs about 30 lbs. He is a great pet, sharp
as a tack and thinks that the whole world exists to play
ball with him. ...
Best Wishes in your endevours, Don Newington |

Hello Hanna,
I recently came across your website and thought that I would sent
you some of Monte's photos. Time flies so fast and I can't believe
that he's almost 6 years old. Those ears of his never stayed,
but he's beautiful just the same. He's excellent at agility
and way too fast for me most of the time. He's definitely
a dog full of character and I couldn't imagine a day without him.
Sincerely, ~Angela and Monte
P.S. Thanks for putting my artwork on the Internet; it was
definitely a surprise when I came across it.

Here is my lovely boy as of last April. He
is gorgeous, brilliant and full of affection and personality (bit
of a devil sometimes, too). Am I a little biased?
Absolutely!
Thanks so much Hanna!
